Hi, I'm Hannah and I'm a Vera Wang addict - or so it must look like in this post at least. I'm a huge perfume lover and I've come to realise that I can never be let down by Vera Wang. I tried her original 'Princess' fragrance a couple of years ago when I was given it as a birthday gift and since then have been eager to try out the other 'Princess' variations and so was delighted when offered the chance to review the two fragrances by Perfume Lover and Fragrance Direct.
You know a perfume is good when you go back for more. Fragrance Direct, an online store bursting with every fragrance you can think of, kindly sent me a refill perfume to review. It's definitely one of my favourites and is a perfume that you can spray on in the morning and the gorgeous smell will linger on you all day long. I was still complimented on the scent after wearing it all day shopping. The scent is a fruity and florally fragrance with hints of vanilla - a real feminine smell. It's not overly sweet not over-powering but as I mentioned, it's strong enough and has a good lasting power. As well as loving the smell, the packaging of the bottle is adorable. The purpley toned heart shaped bottle looks beautiful sitting on my dressing table and the little crown is such a cute addition to finish it off. It's so cute and girly - what more could you want?
Perfume Lover is a perfumery store based in North West London, who stock a wide range of fragrance and beauty products at competitive prices. They're got some really good deals across their site and you can even snap this bottle up for over a fiver off the RRP - it's worth a look! According to Perfume Lover, Vera Wang's Pink Princess is the newest fragrance in the range. It's a limited edition in the collection and so if you're wanting to get your hands on it then you'd better move fast - they're selling quickly as many people are wanting this fragrance for the bottle to keep as a collector's item. I'm aware that some people might consider the sequin bottle to be a little bit tacky however I love it. The pink glitter makes Pink Princess the ultimate girly fragrance and a gorgeous edition to any makeup bag. The only one problem though is that you might find some of the sequins rubbing off in your bag, resulting in your belongings becoming covered in tiny pink sparkles! As for the fragrance itself - it's really fruity - with bursts of grapefruit and raspberry as well as 'marshmallow fluff' and white amber to sweeten the fragrance. It is a really sweet smell and is quite strong to start with but it's not too overpowering. The perfect summer scent in my opinion.
